On Friday morning just just after 2:20 a.m. a police officer with the Boston Police Department, was shot in the area of Grand Street in Roxbury.
The officer was shot at multiple times and was taken to Boston Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect in this shooting incident has been identified as Kasim Kahrim, 36-years-old, of Boston and was pronounced deceased on scene.
